Q&A with Jason De Loach, Hook & Ladder Winery, Santa Rosa, California

Jason was introduced to the wine industry in the usual way: physical labour. At the age of eighteen he started working at De Loach, becoming involved in harvest, crush, and eventually becoming Production Coordinator. He returned to his family roots at Hook & Ladder in 2006 after having studied oenology and worked for other wineries over several years. He has been producing outstanding wines ever since.
